When Aurora had heard about the opportunity to chaperone a Hogwarts trip to Rome, she had jumped at the chance. Having just graduated months prior, she still felt like a student at heart. She hadn't found a steady job just yet, but rather spent her days wandering Diagon Alley and reading out in the sunshine. It helped that Aurora's best friend, Brooke, was still a student in her seventh year at Hogwarts, which would make it all the more fun. Since she had made the prophecy a little over a year ago, she hadn't had any visions, good or bad. She was secretly elated at this lack of prophecy; she had definitely had enough of them to last her a lifetime.
On their first full day in Rome, Aurora rose early, stretching and yawning slightly. She got up and went to the windows, throwing back the curtains and opening the window wide, letting all the fresh air and sunshine flood into the room. "Come on Brooke, wake up! It's a beautiful day and we're in Rome!" she exclaimed excitedly, throwing back her best friends covers. She swept into the bathroom and dressed in a lavender sundress, pulling her long blonde hair back in a messy ponytail. She couldn't be bothered with makeup today, not with all of the sighs they needed to see, she couldn't waste any precious time. Suddenly, she gasped, and sat down hard on the floor. Visions swam in front of her; a girl with dark hair on a cliff, waves crashing on the rocks below, and the sudden sensation of falling very fast. She cried out in panic, not understanding what she was seeing but feeling very, very frightened.
