Emberly Reid, 7, Muggleborn, showing signs of magical ability as well.
Brief History: Flynn's parents Marcus and Marianne met in a very fairy-tale fashion. She arrived home to Eastwood upon graduating Hogwarts and decided to take a walk into the town. A young Demarcus had just set up a stall on the street selling fruits and vegetables he had grown from his tiny garden at his parents home to save money for university. She noticed him right away, and went up to his stall and asked him about his produce. They continued to talk until it got dark enough that he had to pack away his stall. Even though he didn't sell much that day, he still got Marianne's phone number, and they regularly saw each other over the next year. Marianne kept her identity a secret from him at first; but on their first anniversary when Marcus got down on one knee and proposed, she knew she would have to tell him everything. He took it surprisingly well; rumors that witches and wizards existed had been floating the Muggle world for years, but he hadn't thought it'd be real. He again, asked her to marry him and delighted, she accepted.
Just a few months after their humble garden wedding, Marianne discovered she was pregnant. Her pregnancy went by easily and Flynn was born on a warm late spring night in June, much to her parent's happiness. Because Marianne was Muggleborn, she was not sure whether or not Flynn would show signs of magic. There were several close calls, one with Flynn ran out to the middle of the road and was almost hit by a car, but magically seemed to get out of the way in time, but on the day of Flynn's seventh birthday, Marianne discovered him holding a violet in his hand watching it open and close with delight. That day Marianne discovered she was pregnant a second time, and was delighted she would finally give Flynn a brother or sister. This pregnancy however, proved to be extremely difficult; Marianne was almost always in pain, and Demarcus, whose produce stand had blossomed into a full shop in London, had to rely on his assistant managers as her due date grew closer. Marianne labored for 2 days with her second child, a girl named Emberly, but the doctors had failed to correctly diagnose her eclampsia, which she died of just hours after her birth.
With two young children and a lost wife, Marcus considered closing down or selling his grocery store. But Flynn, who was devastated by the loss of his mother, took solace in gardening vegetables, which he would say to his father that he should sell them at his store. With the help of Marianne's mother, whom he had grown close to, he was able to manage his store and raise his children at the same time.
Flynn received his Hogwarts letter on his eleventh birthday. Delighted, he ran and told his father immediately, who felt bittersweet about the situation; his son would be leaving him for a school far away, but he would be able to carry on his mother's wizarding legacy as well. He took Flynn to London himself, helped him buy all him necessary items, and stayed at the Leaky Cauldron with him so he could be seen off at King's Cross the next day. Now, five years later, Flynn is a fifth year of the house of Hufflepuff, just like his mother.
Future Plans: Flynn's true passion in life is Quidditch and Football; if he could play professionally in either sport that would be a dream come true. However, he realizes that life does not always go according to dreams, and would like to work in the Department of Magical Games and Sports or write in the sports section of the Daily Prophet, both of which he would want to do upon retiring from Qudditch anyway.
Secretly, he would like to study the effect of magic on regular fruits and vegetables which he would be able to implement in his father's shop.
