Name: Lucas Martin Rousseau
Nicknames: Luke
House: Gryffindor
Age/Year: 17/7
Birthday: December 24
Birthplace: Marseille, France
Current Home: Appleby, Lincolnshire (UK)
Blood: Pure
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Relationship Status: In a relationship with Brooke Santini
Looks: Luke has white blonde hair, lighter than that of his sister. He has a strong, lean build packed with muscles, perfect for playing chaser on the Gryffindor quidditch team. Luke has bright blue eyes and an equally bright smile. He's exactly six feet and two and a quarter inches tall with big hands.
Personality:Luke's flirtatious and honest nature could have been the death of him. His charming smile and unwavering confidence in himself will serve to get him far in a sociable life. Luke loves nothing more than a little tease and a little kiss (except maybe quidditch), but he knows exactly how to treat a lady. Not only is he chivalrous, but he is as obnoxious and arrogant as his sister, albeit less intelligent (definitely) and ambitious (in most aspects). Luke cares about people a lot, and he is understanding. However, he tends to be stubborn and won't listen to change. The only thing he is truly flexible on is his quidditch team. He doesn't take the "ruling with an iron fist" approach because he believes that everyone's contributions make the team better. As long as they work their bums off. Luke is a friend to everybody.
Likes: quidditch, adventures, being outdoors, swimming, flirting, flaunting his good looks, Brooke, warm lazy days
Dislikes: Going to the bathroom with more than one person, strangers, winter, books, being alone (except in the bathroom)
Fears: being friendless, penniless and miserable
Wand: Laurel and unicorn hair, 12 3/4 inches, unyielding
Pet: a snowy owl named Kilroy
Patronus: a wolf
Boggart: A faceless man
Classes Taking: Charms, divination, care of magical creatures
Favorite Class: COMC
Least Favorite Class: divination
Quidditch Position: Captain, Chaser
Other School Activities/Clubs:
Immediate Family Members: David Rousseau (41), Father, Former Hufflepuff, Hogwarts, former reporter for the Daily Prophet, former reporter for le Provence Marseille, current mediwizard at St. Mungos
Annelise Burns Rousseau (41), Mother, Former Gryffindor, Hogwarts, formerly Senior Undersecretary for the Minister for Magic, currently a stay-at-home mother
Margaux Giselle Rousseau (17), twin sister, Ravenclaw prefect
Ondine Emilie Rousseau (10), little sister
Brief History:Annelise burns was a young, ambitious girl, determined to become the youngest Minister for Magic ever. But she saw unspeakable crimes take place in the ministry she had thought was a shining beacon of light. The ministry was not as perfect as she had imagined. She immediately quit her high ranking position, and met David Rousseau, a curious reporter when he tried to find out why she left. While Annelise refused to answer questions for the Daily Prophet, the newly unemployed girl found herself attracted to the reporter, and he was equally entranced. The two went on a few dates, and their love blossomed quickly. Annelise was desperate to escape the country where she knew what was happening in the ministry, and asked David to flee with her. Trusting her judgement, he agreed, and the couple moved to a cottage on the outskirts of Marseille where they were wed, and started a new life. Annelise quickly discovered that she was pregnant, and with twins no less.
The beginning of the pregnancy was rough on the pair, as David was growing resentful of his wife for making him throw away a perfectly good reporting job. He had left his whole life behind for a woman who would not share why she had to leave England. On a hot stormy night in June, David left Annelise, who was crushed. But it only took David 24 hours to come back, and realizing how much he meant to her, Annelise told him everything about the ministry. He decided it was a good reason to flee. Annelise convinced David that their children could never know that she had been a high ranking ministry official, that she was on the fast track to becoming Minister for Magic. They both knew that they would eventually have to return to England so their children could attend Hogwarts, but Annelise simply couldn't deal with anything concerning the ministry. They hid in the south of France for more than a decade, raising the twins, Margaux and Luke, then Ondine, who came seven years after the first two. All three children were aware of their magical heritage, but not of their mother's place in society. Finally, when the twins were about to turn 11, the family moved to Appleby, and they were enrolled in Hogwarts.
Luke and Margaux had their differences, but they were always very close. They told each other their secrets, they were each others best friends. When Margaux's closest friend died, he tried to be there for her, but she ultimately found solace in her boyfriend. Luke earned the quidditch captaincy, and threw all of his efforts into making the best possible team, training all his players hard every day. One day, when he was with his best friend Brooke, he taunted and teased her into some friendly competition, all in the name of training. It didn't take him long to admit the feelings he had been harboring for her for so long. She kissed him and that was that.
